We keep our pricing simple and transparent.

Daycare is $50/day. Overnight boarding is $60/night, including pickup before noon on departure day. Pickups after noon are $25. Holiday rates are $60/day for daycare and $70/night for boarding. Most holiday weekends require a 2-night minimum; Thanksgiving and Christmas require 3 nights. A 25% deposit is required to reserve your stay. What types of dogs are best suited for Crooked Rooster Dog Resort?

Crooked Rooster is best suited for house-trained dogs over one year old who are comfortable and respectful around other dogs and people. Because we care for a small group in our home, we carefully screen new guests to make sure each dog will be comfortable in our environment.

What does a typical day look like for dogs at the resort?

Our days follow a relaxed home routine with outdoor play, time with the other dogs, plenty of rest, and lots of companionship. Dogs spend their stay as part of our household rather than in a traditional kennel environment, with time to play, relax, explore the yard, and simply hang out with us.

Do you require a meet and greet?

New clients begin by completing our New Client Screening Form. If your dog appears to be a good fit for our home environment, we'll contact you to schedule a meet and greet before booking. This gives everyone a chance to get acquainted and make sure Crooked Rooster is the right fit.

How do you ensure the safety of the dogs?

We keep our group small so we can provide attentive, personal care. Dogs are carefully screened before their first stay, introductions are supervised, and we pay close attention to each dog's behavior and comfort. Our goal is a safe, peaceful environment for every dog in our care.
